René Mashburn is the owner of Green Gates, an upscale home furnishings store near downtown Fairhope specializing in new designs with an old world richness of style and quality. Continuing her efforts for conservation, the store has joined forces with some of the nation’s most talented artisans in the furniture industry’s movement for transforming salvaged timbers and metal from old ships and buildings into beautiful, high quality furniture and decor. With a European inspired sensibility from her years of living in England and Scotland, René hopes visitors to Green Gates will also find inspiration to discover new and evolving ways to furnish and enjoy their homes.

Lenae Cleveland Denson of Cleveland Florist, began working for the family’s florist business as a teenager. While at college Lenae worked in several large floral shops in the Metropolitan Atlanta area and started importing Holland Flowers. Upon returning to Mobile, Lenae began writing a weekly column in the Mobile Register. Lenae expanded into television and created a holiday special as well as her own show, Lifestyles with Lenae. Presently Lenae makes television appearances for several of the local area television stations.
