Renowned Mobile artist Eugenia Foster created the exclusive 2010 Polo at the Point official painting. The nationally award-winning artist has earned a reputation as a leading talent. Her creations are highly sought after, sell for high dollar and hang in prestigious galleries, local landmarks and in some of the southeast’s finest homes. For the last six months, her paintings have dressed up the Mobile Regional Airport. The Hearin Room at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce bears her art, providing exposure that led businesses like Thyssen Krupp to purchase pieces to send to their home office in Germany. Her paintings also grace Ashland Gallery in Mobile and Region’s Bank on Hillcrest Road.

The Voice of Polo at the Point, David Andrews has been announcing Polo since 1979. He became involved with polo because he worked at the Real Estate division of Wellington, the developer of the Palm Beach Polo Club. He started announcing practice games and although he had brief aspirations of becoming a polo player, he returned to his strength and came back to announcing. “I like to get the audience involved as much as possible by explaining the game in an easy to understand fashion,” he says. David has been involved in the Polo at the Point event from the beginning and enjoys announcing the event, as the ambiance is friendly and sporting.
